So it took some persuasion to get onboard as a dating expert for this blog.  It’s not that I didn’t want to, I just never like looking at myself as an authoritative voice, ya know?  However, I might as well depart what I know and hopefully you can take something away from it.  I’m not god (even if my buddies refer to me as it) but I do seem to do alright when it comes to dating.  So here are some quick beginning dating tips you should know.

Dating it’s a sport

Like all sports, some people have a natural gift while others have to work at it but in either case, if you don’t practice you’ll eventually peak.  Dating is no different.  Some people seem to be born with the organic skills while other flounder like a dying fish.  It’s alright, the majority of single ladies and men are the latter of the two.  So, with this in mind all you really need to do is practice.  You’re going to get freaking shot down like mad, that’s just a reality.  Whether you’re a guy or a girl but you just have to keep trying because every time you get a disgusted look, laugh, or fake number you learn something for the next time.  The more you do it the more you learn and the better you get.  With any luck you’ll be the Michael Jordan of dating after honing your mad skills.

Dating is about perseverance

Keep at it, keep at it, keep at it, keep at it.  Do you ever hang back at a bar and watch a guy who is just acing with some chick?  Do you wonder to yourself what does he have that you don’t?  Well here’s your answer – NOTHING.  That’s right, chances are he has no outstanding quality over you.  Hell you could easily be the better choice.  So how does he do it?  With perseverance.  He’s probably gone up to all the single ladies until one was finally suckered by his lame pick up line.  So, put your ego aside and start looking for the singles for singles.  Odds are one is bound to be interested.
